CLIENT:

Mission Science Workshop

MY ROLE:

Design Consultation, Pattern Making, Fabrication

Mission Science Workshop is a San Francisco community science center that provides hands-on science experiences and activities to underserved youth and families. They partner with local public schools and community organizations to provide programs to engage and enrich students through exciting learning experiences.

The Giant Blood Vessel Exhibit invites users to learn about the minute processes of the human body. The exhibit involves walking through a giant sized version of a human blood vessel. While inside, students will be able to interact with platelets, white and red blood cells, and macrophages.

Worked primarily on the fabrication of the main structure of the exhibit. Additional consulting on materials and exhibit construction methods.
